She is looked after by the same team of carers who work extremely well and hard, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Also, a big thank you to Sue for arranging for the carers to provide additional help during a recent difficult time for ******. If you are looking for carers then look no further, absolutely amazing! My grandad became a widow back in September last year, due to his ill health he then had to up root from his home of 62 years back in January. As you can imagine, this wasn’t easy and the transition was very difficult. It soon became apparent he needed carers to assist him in some of his daily routine. This wasn’t easy, it was a mind field, who do you choose, who do you trust? Luckily, I had several recommendations for Border Cottage. I sent them a message via Facebook and Sue called me the very same day. Instantly I clicked with Sue, she was genuinely lovely! We discussed grandads needs and arranged to meet. My mum and dad and most importantly grandad were happy and a plan was sorted. The carers are just amazing, we don’t have to worry. He is looked after, nothing is too much trouble, communication at its best! Grandad has a brilliant relationship with them all. As a family, we can’t thank them enough. Sue keeps in touch with me, she’s a great support too! Thank you! You are the best! We would be lost without you all!

A very big thank you to all at Border Cottage for the wonderful care you have taken with Mum over the last several months. To the admin staff and Sue setting up Mums cares, to the carers who helped Mum. It was a pleasure to know Sarah, Chantelle and Gail as they helped Mum with professionalism, kindness and care to continue to live in her own home. 22 March 2024  · Border Cottage Care are currently caring for my Nana. They have been absolutely amazing. She is receiving the most dignified, caring approach from the ladies that come to visit her and as a family we couldn't be more thankful.

Laura, Gail, Nikki, Alissia (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) and everyone else that has come, literally have gone above and beyond to make sure my Nana has everything she needs.

They have adapted calls at the drop of a hat to suit her declining health care needs and have been a godsend in every way.

We are so thankful and relieved to have them as we know my Nana is in the best hands and I know they are only a phone call away if we ever need anything.

13 February 2024  · Dear Team Sue. Opportunities in life are too often turned down due to a variety of valid reasons. Sometimes you have to say YES! What you do enabled me to do what I did! Faith in a care company requires trust. Strangers coming into a home requires discretion and caring calls for honesty and integrity. Throughout the five weeks I was away it became very apparent that ***** was being expertly cared for by the team. He had nothing but praise for you all relating to every aspects of his care. Sue, Laura, Lindsay, Gail and Ellis you are all stars and please would you clean my house every week!! I’m working on the next cruise and wouldn’t hesitate to use the company again. 31 March 2023  · superb care and attention towards our 93 year old mother. All staff whether in office or hands on were kind, professional and caring. Always the same two girls Tanya and Sarah who my mother and ourselves  thought the world of. Management team chased up other professionals for us and kept us informed at all times of our mother's care. All staff couldn't have given us any more than they had. Highly recommended to other service users and if needed get in touch with them and we will talk to you about this outstanding company. All  our thanks for their genuine compassion towards a beloved mother.

20 December 2021  · When Mum had a fall recently I contacted Border Cottage Care and honestly don't know what we would have done without them. Sue came to visit mum, took a genuine interest in her and got care put in place straight away. She was a great support to me, giving me advice. My mum is so precious to me but she's definitely in safe hands with these lovely carers. Thank you ❤️

This praise applies to both the Carers and the Management team. Border Cottage was recommended to us and we would recommend it to any other potential people needing care. 17 May 2021  · Highly recommended!! We have had boarder cottage care for around 3 years now, its a fabulous company! The service of care is great!! They are on time, they treat everyone individually, they are sweet and caring but also down to earth like we are and like the banter, they have bent over backwards to care and provide for my mam and dad and because of the consistency of carers they have become more like great friends! My family went thru a really bad time and we had no clue what to do, but we had the office staff ring us and offer their help and guidance and asked if we had questions and they showed us the way, they got the ball rolling for us they went above and beyond, their expertise and knowledge is immense. The whole of boarder cottage care helped us all a great deal, which in turn gave us more precious time with our loved ones. Forever grateful. Each and everyone one of u are diamonds.

15 April 2021  · If you are thinking about going into Home Care, this is the best by far!! They are lovely team of people to work for, not just your fellow colleagues but everyone from office based staff to management. They are always a phone call away if needed, even if its just to vent and let your stress out. Always ready if you need a helping hand for example shift swaps, service user reviews if YOU feel they need more/less, They will listen to you as a colleague and get advise from you for what services need/want. After all, your the one seeing them on a daily basis not the management. The only reason I left was to focus more on my clinic skills as a support worker, but would 100% go back if needed, no where else have I felt more valued as a member of the team

6 April 2021  Border Cottage Care have been providing daily care for my mum in her own home for over a year, I cannot recommend them highly enough, they have been superb. They have adapted the care as needs increased, they are reliable, reasonably priced, consistent, and punctual. The staff go above and beyond their duties to ensure all needs are met. They are friendly , respectful, trustworthy and courteous. 25 March 2021  What can I say about border cottage care...well, the honest answer is I've become a confident and very enthusiastic member of this company for nearly 8 years!..I've gained friends that was once just colleagues....I can honestly say I go to, and come home from work smiling...I love that i make a difference every day... 12 April 2021  Border Cottage Care have provided overnight care for my mam every night for about 7 years. The carers are always the same girls and best we've ever had, treat my mam like one of their own, my mind is always put at ease because I know she's in safe hands. The carers always arrive on time and give the best care. Office staff always at the end of phone especially Sue always friendly and wants to help, I would definitely recommend using this company.

13 April 2021  Border cottage Care have provided care for my mam for 7 years, They are still going strong, I would'nt have any one else, They're a reliable company, You can trust that their carers have the knowledge and compassion when looking and caring for your relative, they treat me mam like there own families, my mam loves all her carers, and that's says alot. Sue is amazing too, she has become a friend to me and my sister, she goes above and beyond to make sure that my mam gets the best of the best. You will not be disappointed using their services, I would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs Nursing care.
